Hi, this is Jen, Founder of YSN.
While a lot of you have known us for many years, and stuck with us through the evolution of YSN, every day new people discover us from around the world and wonder…what exactly is it that we do?
Don’t worry, we know it can be a bit hard to figure out sometimes. So, I wanted to take a few minutes to explain and catch you up. There’s a lot happening, both on the site and behind the scenes. If you follow us online, you’re probably also asking yourself, “where in the world are they now”?
Just last month alone, our other Jen was in Italy, C.C. in Turkey, and Brenden and I in Malaysia. So, yes, we are everywhere it seems. And, yes, that’s the plan.
Here’s a quick video that explains what we’re up to. We think it’s important for all you to know what drives us and what we’re setting out to accomplish in the world – because you play an important role in it, not to mention in the success of every initiative we undertake.
Whether you’re a student, young leader, young professional, entrepreneur, executive, manager, media, teacher, parent, organization leader or government official, it is our hope that we can all work together to tackle some of the biggest challenges in the world surrounding youth employment and entrepreneurship…but even before that, the empowerment of young people filled with potential, but needing hope, help realizing their own potential, and critical support and resources to connect the dots between what they want and how to get there.
That’s what we do best. And what we are committed to doing, and scaling.
