YSN member dfoxwort asks: I am considering entering into the Home Inspection field. I have noticed there are not many women in this industry. Is there any advice from someone who is a woman in this field? I would greatly appreciate it.
Jen responds: Hi! Great idea! Just love mavericks like you. Have you talked to Angela4pr here on YSN? She is a fantastic publicist who works very closely with Paige, the contractor on Extreme Home Makeover. Her whole persona and business are based on empowering women to tackle even the most intense home improvement projects. I’d think she’d offer some fantastic advice. Angela could probably tell you almost anything you’d want to know that they’ve learned along the way! I’ll also pass on your question to her directly.
